Gage Halland learned under legendary guitar builder John Greven followed by an apprenticeship under world renowned luthier Michael Greenfield of Greenfield Guitars for two years. With such a pedigree, you can bet that we are excited to receive our very first Halland.
Do not be deceived by the “basic” wood choices of Sitka Spruce and East Indian Rosewood - they both rank very highly on Gage’s list and it is one heck of a guitar. The tone of a Halland is extremely fat, much more so than a typical guitar and playing it has changed my perspective of what a guitar should sound like - definitely one of our favourites in the store right now!
